UNDP Invitation: FUTURE TOURISM – Regional Dialogue V: Sustainable Solutions

After four insightful Regional Policy Dialogues, we present the final UNDP Future Tourism Regional Dialogue. This time, the conversation will focus on “Building an inclusive and sustainable tourism future”. The recording of previous Regional Dialogues I to IV is available here.

The Panel

Moderated by Riad Meddeb, UNDP Senior Principal Advisor for Small Island Developing States, we will hear three key experts on the tourism sector presenting sustainable solutions for the future of tourism:

  • Karolin Troubetzkoy, Executive Director, Marketing & Operations, Anse Chastanet & Jade Mountain Resort
  • Seleni Matus, Executive Director, International Institute of Tourism Studies, George Washington University
  • Maria Fowell, Senior Technical Specialist Tourism, Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS)

After the sustainable solutions are introduced, we will hear the views of representatives from two financial institutions:

  • European Union (EU) – Floris Vermeulen, Local Representative, Southern and Eastern Caribbean, European Investment Bank (EIB)
  • Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) - Marisol Inurritegui, Natural Resources Sector Specialists, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)
